What Changed

A generic template-built site replaced with a design that leads with the firm's track record, surfaces investment criteria clearly, and signals credibility to the entrepreneurs, sponsors, and intermediaries they actually want to reach

The Challenge

Ridgeline Capital Partners had 75 investments, $511 million deployed, and nearly 100 years of collective experience on their team. Their website looked like none of it. The homepage opened with a stock photo and a generic headline. Their numbers, the kind that serious entrepreneurs and private equity sponsors actually look for, were buried in the middle of the page behind walls of text. The site was built on a starter template that worked fine for a local business. For a firm operating at this level, it was a credibility gap.

The Approach

The redesign started with what the firm had already earned. The numbers came first. A track record of 75 investments and $511M deployed is not supporting copy, it is the headline. The investment criteria, deal size, target company profile, and preferred industries, were restructured into a format that let the right visitors qualify themselves quickly. The visual direction was updated to match the tone of the institutions and sponsors the firm works with, clean, confident, and built for trust rather than decoration.

The Result

The homepage now opens with the weight the firm's track record deserves. Investment criteria that previously required scrolling through dense paragraphs are now scannable in seconds. The site speaks directly to the three audiences Ridgeline actually serves: entrepreneurs looking for growth capital, private equity sponsors seeking a flexible capital partner, and business intermediaries evaluating fit on behalf of their clients.
